Hola diary. Fuhhh… it has been an empty week, empty with moi latest updates..

Last Sunday, four of us (Kord, Ewan, Better-half & I) managed to be present at my lovely friend, Yani’s engagement ceremony which was held at temerloh..

At last, I managed to eat ‘Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak’.. =) it’s tasty! Hurm… tapi…ikan patin is not my much loved fish… tataw kenapa… maybe because the taste of the ikan is a bit strange kott.. hee hee. Whatever.. ;)

On the way back to KL, we paid a quick visit at Bukit Tinggi. The panorama is super-duper nice and the countryside really-really catch my eyes… anddd… my heart noiselessly murmured.. “I should come here another time”. Let’s the pictures do the talking…..

Ohhh.. My bigggg day is coming… it’s less than a month… precisely, 26 days left… I have uneasy feeling… i’m worried and fretful... I am pretty sure; its untruth if we say all brides-to-be can be cool waiting for their wedding day… in fact, I got bad chest pain these few days and my left hand is shivering. I have sought for Dr Bavani and her first question after do all the health check was “Are you worrying bout something, dear?” and I said smilingly “Yes, I do… but not really be troubled with it. I didn’t lose sleep.”…. At last, she gave me some medicine for muscle pain and medicine to calm down my mind and advised me to put feet up.. Do I have anxiety disorder?... tataw la… yes, almost all the time, my big day is bothering my mind… I always pray, the ceremony will run smoothly as it should be… InsyaAllah…

all the invitation cards will be mailed out by next week... ;)

I managed to grab a tudung for my akad nikah.. in off-white color. Susah juga nak cari, luckily I found one.. still I have to find 2 more tudung for reception day and majlis bertandang.. susah betol nak cari tudung yang suitable and satisfy with my needs. Uuhuhuh…

Hey buddies.

Alhamdulillah...Better-half and I managed to settle our registration for nikah last weekend.Syukur Alhamdulillah. The main thing has been settled.Fuhhh… so now, I can get into the swing and loosen up my head a bit..

I managed to make an effort to be dressed in my wedding attire for reception ceremony last weekend. Alhamdulillah. I’m glad seeing that it was really comply with my needs as it should be….

So now, I need to find right and proper hijabs for three ceremonies; akad nikah, reception & bertandang. Hurmm.. 4 weeks left and I have to take a quick step.. There’s only few things left and InsyaAllah it will be settled very soon... Moga Allah permudahkan segala-galanya.. Amen.

All brides-to-be want to look their best on their wedding day…Same goes to me. Since my big day is on the horizon and I still have a few pounds to shed off. Hurm…Rasanyaaaa, I managed to throw away a few kilos of blubber from my body… but…. Not so sure.. perasaan je kottt… tapi better-half said I looks kecik skit than before. Heeeee..

I was at Klana Resort Seremban for two days, 31st October & 1^st November 2009 for Winning Performance Culture Team Engagement.

I managed to accomplish most of outdoor activities. Though it’s not easy to overcome fear of height but at least, I managed to climb 12 feet wall with full support & assistance from all of the superb team members. Bravo, Ellena.

When I came back to work on Monday morning, one of my office mate give me out a question “best tak pi team building?”

Honestly, it’s just so-so. It was unremarkable moment for me. I noticed, all the colleagues are still feeling the “heat” & “fire” of it, but not me. When I stepped into office on Monday’s morning, they did a very out, loud-mouthed war-cry, but I silently, wordlessly sit at my place with unpleasant, nasty smile and down face.

Straight from my shoulder, it was moderately good for ME. I was not really motivated. What have caused it happened? Personally, something is bothering my mind since a week ago which I was not supposed to amass that “thing” with me all through team engagement days.

Too bad, this weedy Ellena let this sticky situation winning her mind throughout those days. I was not okay at all and I knew all colleagues noticed about this gloomy girl. I gave bad smiles to others. I refused to do few things. I let myself single-handedly and toddle around the resort unaccompanied.

And to my Transformers team members:

Sorry for ‘saying no’ for a number of activities & thank you for those who had replaced me.

Sorry for being unhappy and sluggish team member.

Sorry for being jaded.

Sorry for the all unpleasant smiles.

Fortunately, on the Halloween night, my mood was back to normal. We performed a drama and surprisingly we won the second place.

That night, we danced, we sang songs together and enough said I really-really get pleasure from that moment. I had a good time with my colleagues.

Thank you to my better-half who made an effort to wake up in early morning, without having mealtime together and drove me to Seremban, dissimilar with others who were taking bas to reach there. Heart you, so much.

Hey diary. I have been vanished for sooooo many days & week from this blog-sphere. The main cause is no internet connection and it made me sick. Sincerely sick. I bought P1WIMAX few weeks ago but it’s spilled me as I was not able to connect to internet, after check here and there; placed the modem here and there in finding the signal; I was informed that my residence is out of coverage. What the heck. At the time when I intend to register, the seller, bukan main lagi said this, said that, tapi? Consequently, within the cooling period, I’ve cancelled my account. Geram tapi tak berapa puas hati as I need to wait for 45days to get the refund cheque. Last night, I managed to enroll for 3GB Maxis Broadband since pop round at Tropicana City. I’m glad for the reason that it’s just a small device which I can carry to anywhere. Luckily, it’s performing well. Alhamdulillah.

Today is already 10 Zulkaedah. Yeah diary, I haven’t posted any post about my great Raya. Some of blog lovers did email me and enquired about my missing. I’m still alive, hale and hearty. He he he.

Syawal this year has been a wonderful Syawal for me.The most important and remarkable moments during Syawal ni, masa berkumpul adik beradik kat dapur, after berbuka puasa on the last Ramadhan, all daughters, we gathered together to get food preparation untuk hari raya, sesi masukkan biskut raya into canister, prepare the table and our living hall. It’s so good fun. Jauh dalam hati, I’m worried all these sweet moments will be distant from me once I get married. It’s hard to say……but I know, it will happen someday soon… I love to be the most important head kat rumah on malam raya, kemas rumah, prepare all the foods, but..entahla.. It’s hard to say… as my 3^rd sister said despairingly and with a sigh on malam raya “sorang lagi kahwin, tak tahulah raya tahun depan camne”……. It was sadden me…..

Similar with the past few years, our main dishes on the first Hari Raya is nasi minyak with chicken curry unchanged. Tapai Pulut and ketupat daun palas wajib ada, this is my much-loved food during Hari Raya. Rasa tak lengkap raya kalau tak ada ketupat daun palas. On second day of hari Raya, Mama & I managed to prepare lontong & fried macaroni. Hurm, lontong ni pun wajib buat every Syawal ni. It was as yummy as before.

Several friends asked about my wedding preparation.. Alhamdulillah, so far, we had stroke out a few things already such as kursus kahwin, HIV test, wedding invitation cards which will be in hand by next week, make-up artist, door gifts, bertandang’s outfit, bunga telur, bunga manggar and etc. oh ya diary, I’m looking for a kompang troop which I have not find it yet. I realized, it’s so difficult to find kompang troop in Kelantan.

In fact, I intend to do the ‘hantaran’ things on my own; still I do not have enough time to decorate all those things, thus terpaksa tempah all the gubahan and decoration.

There is a main thing need to be settled without delay - all the nikah-kahwin forms. Nampaknya, we need to balik kampong dalam masa terdekat ni…

What I’ve learnt from this preparation, it’s not easy to get married. He he he. Seriously, there are many things need to be done.. All the sweet and nasty things that better-half & I came across throughout our preparation will be etched in my mind eternally. Sometime, unpleasant and unwanted things happened. Sometime, I like it but he dislikes it. Sometime, we disagreed and argue for simple things. Sometime, we do not have the same opinion. Sometime, we are not in the same mind. But, in the last part, we see eyes to eyes and we say yes. I’m truly glad and thankful that I’m going to marry someone who is always with me in my good & bad times…… InsyaAllah.

Alhamdulillah, we arrived at KL around 1030pm last night. Though we were weary and worn-out but we were so happy; at least we managed to spend two and half days with our beloved family members at kampung. Two days managed to break fasting with mama were so precious.

Alhamdulillah, I managed to have most Kelantan cuisine yang tak dapat cari di KL. =) heheh… some of them is Kuih Net Bak (ni memang susah nak jumpa kat KL, dah 6 tahun di KL tapi tak pernah jumpa) Ayam Percik Yati, Kuih Akok (even if KL ada Akok tapi tak sama theee-heee) andddd…banyak lagi….. aiihhh.. lepas raya, confirm kena diet gile..

wuhuuu.. less than 3 weeks, balik kampung lagiiii... bestttt..

To Sis Ann, happy Birthday. May your special day be filled with memories and flowers, friendship and happy hours.. cepat kahwen, okay =)

2nd day of Ramadhan

Hips,
I had a hectic weekend. Sangat-sangat penat sampai tertidur, tak tersedar nak bangun bersahur. Fortunately, mom called and woke me up, tu pun dah pukul 5.30am. haiih… I had cornflakes & fresh milk to full up my tummy. Harap-harap kenyang sampai waktu berbuka.

Last night, berbuka di seafood restoran di Kg Baru, Nang Kam. All the meals that we ordered really comply with our needs. Ikan Siakap masam manis, sayur kailan ikan masin, tom yam ayam, telur dadar and 2 watermelon juices worth rm50.70. Enough to say, memang puas hati, service tip top, all meals sampai on time. Better-half kekenyangan sampai tak leh nk drive ya? *heee heee*

And I managed to grab a watch for ‘him’ yesterday… ~~not for me this time~~ as part of our hantaran list. He seems so happy and gave a cheerful smile sampai ke kereta, as this is the watch which he has been eyeing since 2-3 months ago.

Better-half recently reduced almost 10 kilos. He did it in a completely natural and healthy way. yaaa....exercise is certainly a major part of his weight loss success. some more, he controls what he puts into his mouth..
I’m so proud of you, dear.

Dear diary,

During these months of wedding planning and getting things ready, I’m thinking about making my big day simple yet perfect and at the same time, better-half and I also planning the changeover to a married life, it can’t be deny.
We’re planned to find a ‘nest’ to be rented, shyly after Hari Raya Puasa. Most probably, it’ll be somewhere around Ampang or Pandan Indah. Precisely, in the center of KL. bukan tak nak tinggal kat Damansara lagi, but… jauh sangatt dengan tempat kerja….. We preferred more on terrace house compared with apartment. Why? senang nk cuci kereta, moi boyfriend kata… ya, you’re right, dear. heee heee. Later, tak ada excuse kalau rim baby neo saya tak berkilat ya. =P

Essentially, 4 months to go before the big day. Most of the items in our to-do list have not been strike out yet, there’s still 70% pending. Wedding invitation card? Tak design lagi. Door gift? belum jumpa lagi. Oh yeah, kursus kahwin belum attend lagi. Barang-barang for hantaran, belum habis beli lagi. Probably Pusat Kursus Perkahwinan Bandar Damansara will be our choice. When? During ramadhan, perhaps.

We chose better-half’s close-friend, Azri as our official photographer & he will shoot our most memorable day nanti, and for bridal make-up, I’ve booked make-up artist, Auntie Norlida, to do the putting of the suitable make ups on my face.

We’re looking for a nice wedding invitation card. All I want is just a simple, presentable but elegant kind of wedding invitations. Hurmm… A simple but nice would be right with me…

Personally, there were so many emotions mixed up at this moment. So many things lingering in my mind… I know I am getting anxious of everything whether my big day will turn out fine. i keep remind myself that i need to reside with my budget since there are still many things we have to chew over right after the wedding. Better-half always said, "Sayang, we will work things out together so there’s no reason to get so stressed & anxious about this preparation". I am just so fortunate that I always have his support; I have his hand tapping on my shoulder saying "everything will be alright, don't worries too much....".

Owh ya. We planned to have our pre-wedding photography before our big day. Photographer? We have not decided yet… Tak tahu nak pilih sapa……… sabau je la….

It’s not official yet, but really close to it...
I am the future wife.
It's so strand going from single woman to a married woman, from miss to mrs, from one become two.
Better-half and I have been together for few years.
We've been through great times and extremely hard times together.
We've helped each other when needed and made life decisions together.
Well……… now it's finally going to happen.
I really am marrying my dearest-best-friend and I can't wait for it.
I'm really excited about this.

Plus, he has made me even more excited about my wedding’s preparation.

Dear diary,
We’re going to have a small celebration for our betrothal in less than 2 months. Nothing can express my excitement… memang happy.. and syukur sangat…. Spying ceremony (merisik) already done early this month… both families highlighted the betrothal ceremony to be done in September, after Syawal indeed. I am so happy for it. =)

This blog will be taking a “hiatus-vacation” for the near future, until I can scrape together enough time to start posting again. Ideally, there would be rare but infrequent posting, but it’s not yet clear how much. At the same time, though, I do not want this blog to sit completely stagnant… urrghhh… but… it have to… benci!

I have big calves. Girls, you know..it's just suc*s when i'm cant buy several types of jeans especially skinny jeans which i've been eyeing 1-2 years ago.. Currently, i'm concentrate on toning them. Some people say, walking is one of best thing to slim down the lower part.. Uhuhu. I'd love them to look long and lean..but how?.. Susah sgt.. Uhuhu..
